"The Emirates Down Syndrome Association launched the Happiness Kiosk initiative to provide meaningful employment for people with Down syndrome. The project stems from the Association’s Hospitality Academy, which trains individuals in culinary and hospitality skills and prepares them for real job opportunities. At the kiosk, employees serve coffee, beverages, and handmade biscuits they produce themselves. As the kiosk team increasingly participates in events across the UAE, the Association now requires a 3‑ton pickup truck to transport equipment and materials. Securing this vehicle will improve operational efficiency, support the kiosk’s expansion, and enhance community engagement. Ultimately, this contribution strengthens professional independence, social inclusion, and overall quality of life for People of Determination with Down syndrome."
