Dubai Charity Association aims to emphasize the importance of Zakat on wealth and its proper fulfilment, reinforcing its concept as one of the fundamental pillars of Islam. The Association distributes Zakat to its rightful recipients in accordance with the prescribed Shariah allocations. When the wealth reaches the Nisab (minimum threshold) and has been held for a full lunar year, Zakat becomes obligatory at a rate of 2.5% of the total wealth.
