Dubai Chamber of Commerce and JOOD Partner to Support Social Entrepreneurs and SMEs

Dubai Chamber of Commerce has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Dubai Community Contributions Establishment – JOOD to support entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) focused on sustainability and social impact.

The partnership aims to help purpose-driven ventures access funding and community contributions through JOOD’s digital platform, which facilitates the collection, management, and distribution of contributions in line with approved governance and compliance frameworks.

Maha Al Gargawi, Vice President of Business Advocacy at Dubai Chambers, said the collaboration will strengthen Dubai’s social entrepreneurship ecosystem by connecting impactful projects with the resources needed to grow and create lasting social and environmental value.

Marwan Rashed BinHashim, CEO of JOOD, highlighted the importance of providing transparent and trusted channels that enable social entrepreneurs to transform innovative ideas into sustainable community impact.

Under the agreement, both parties will collaborate on awareness initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and knowledge sharing efforts that support sustainable development and contribute to the objectives of Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and Dubai Social Agenda 33.
