Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, the Community Development Authority (CDA) launched JOOD, Dubai’s unified platform for community contributions, as part of the Dubai Social Agenda 33.
The platform aims to strengthen community participation, encourage sustainable giving, and provide a trusted channel for companies, institutions, business leaders, and individuals to support social and humanitarian initiatives across the emirate.
Built on the principle of “From the Community, to the Community,” JOOD connects contributors with initiatives in key sectors including healthcare, education, housing, and social support, while ensuring transparency, efficiency, and measurable impact.
The platform also supports corporate social responsibility efforts by enabling private sector organizations to direct their contributions towards sustainable community development projects aligned with Dubai’s social priorities.
Accessible through jood.ae and the DubaiNow application, JOOD offers secure digital giving solutions and serves as a central hub for advancing social cohesion and sustainable development across Dubai.
