Dubai Community Contributions Establishment – JOOD convened more than 50 impact leaders, CEOs, and representatives from government and private sector entities for a specialized workshop titled “JOOD: Shaping the Future of Giving and Community Action in Dubai.” The event aimed to foster dialogue on the future of community development and advance a more sustainable and collaborative giving ecosystem across the emirate.
Held at the Community Development Authority headquarters in Al Barsha, the workshop served as a platform for decision-makers and stakeholders to explore emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities in the philanthropic and community sector, while identifying practical solutions that can generate measurable and long-term social impact.
Discussions focused on strengthening collaboration between government entities, the private sector, and community organizations, as well as exploring international best practices and innovative approaches that support the objectives of Dubai Social Agenda 33 and reinforce a culture of sustainable giving.
The future of giving is built on collaboration, shared responsibility, and a collective commitment to creating meaningful impact. This workshop provided an opportunity to bring together leaders from across sectors to exchange ideas, identify opportunities, and develop solutions that will help shape a stronger and more sustainable community ecosystem in Dubai.
