JOOD: means Dubai Community Contributions Establishment – (Jood), a government entity duly registered and licensed in accordance with the laws in force in the United Arab Emirates pursuant to Amiri Decree No. (3), with its registered office located in Al Barsha, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Site: means the official website operated by Dubai Community Contributions Establishment – (Jood), including all webpages, subdomains, mobile versions, applications, and any related digital platforms through which the Organization provides information, services, or donation functionality. https://jood.ae

Contributor: means any individual or legal entity that makes a voluntary financial contribution to the Organization through the Website or any other authorized channel. A Contributor may include one time contributors, recurring contributors, sponsors, or grant making entities.

Contribution: means any donation, grant, gift, or provision of funds, goods, services, or other support made by the Contributor to JOOD, whether in cash or in kind, for the purpose of supporting its charitable objectives and activities.

You and Your :mean any individual or legal entity that accesses, browses, registers with, or uses the Site operated by JOOD, whether as a Contributor , visitor, or user of any services provided through the Site.
 

When you browse, read pages, or download information from this Site, we automatically gather and store certain technical information about your visit. This information is used for statistical purposes only and covers: .

• The name of the top-level domain from which you access the Internet (for example: .ae, .com, etc).

We do not collect this data for commercial or marketing purposes, and JOOD does not sell, exchange or otherwise distribute the data collected for commercial or marketing purposes.

While JOOD implement industry standard security practices designed to protect the Contributor against unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure, no online platform can guarantee absolute security due to the evolving nature of cybersecurity risks.

For your protection, sensitive financial information , including without limitation: bank card numbers, expiry dates, and security verification codes is entered directly into a secure electronic payment gateway and is not stored on JOOD’s servers. Payment transactions are processed through certified payment service providers that use encryption and other security safeguards in accordance with applicable standards.

JOOD shall not be liable for losses resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including cyber attacks or unauthorized access despite the implementation of appropriate security measures.

JOOD has nothing to do with the bank that issued your card or payment instrument. Accordingly, JOOD will not receive or provide any response to any inquiry, complaint or request for information that you send to it regarding your banking operations or place your card in connection with the Contribution process you completed online and benefit from the electronic payment gateway service.

JOOD may not be contacted or considered responsible for attending any session to settle any dispute between the Contributor  and the association or the charitable team due to the services it provides, And JOOD shall not be held responsible for any claim for loss or compensation due to refundable expenses or transactions in which fraud is used when using your cards or bank accounts after you have accessed the Site or benefited from its services.

•    We will not sell your personal information.
•    We will not keep your personal information for longer than is necessary for the stated purposes except to the extent required by applicable regulations.

JOOD’s purpose in collecting personal information such as a card number is to provide you with a secure, easy and efficient way for you to authenticate your electronic payment through your authorized financial institution. We may use your personal information to:
We receive and protect your personal information such as a payment card number by adopting physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that are in line with the payment card industry standards set by major international card providers, including Visa and MasterCard. We use safeguards such as firewalls and data encryption.
•    Conduct transactions and send notifications about your transactions.
•    Provision of services and customer support if required.
•    Resolve conflicts and problems.
•    Preventing prohibited and illegal activities.
We collaborate with charitable associations and teams to enable them to receive payments from you using the e-payment portal. However, we will not disclose your debit or credit card number or bank account number to anyone you have paid for, as these information are considered confidential.
