JOOD: means Dubai Community Contributions Establishment – (Jood), a government entity duly registered and licensed in accordance with the laws in force in the United Arab Emirates pursuant to Amiri Decree No. (3), with its registered office located in Al Barsha, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Site: means the official website operated by Dubai Community Contributions Establishment – (Jood), including all webpages, subdomains, mobile versions, applications, and any related digital platforms through which the Organization provides information, services, or donation functionality. https://jood.ae

Content: means all materials and information available on or through the Site, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, photographs, videos, audio clips, software, design elements, data, reports, downloadable materials, and any other content published, displayed, or made available on the Site, whether owned by the Organization or licensed from third parties.

Contributor: means any individual or legal entity that makes a voluntary financial contribution to the Organization through the Website or any other authorized channel. A Contributor may include one time contributors, recurring contributors, sponsors, or grant making entities.

Contribution: means any donation, grant, gift, or provision of funds, goods, services, or other support made by the Contributor to JOOD, whether in cash or in kind, for the purpose of supporting its charitable objectives and activities.

You and Your: mean any individual or legal entity that accesses, browses, registers with, or uses the Site operated by JOOD, whether as a Contributor, visitor, or user of any services provided through the Site.

This is the Community Contribution Platform (“JOOD”).

By using the electronic payment service provided through the Jood Platform (the “Site”), you agree to accept the Terms Of Use set out below, as well as United Arab Emirates laws. JOOD reserves the right to seek all remedies available by law for any violation of these Terms Of Use, including any violation of JOOD's rights in the JOOD name and emblem and its rights in connection with the information, artwork, text, video, audio, or pictures (together, the "Content") of the Site.

Whether or not you are a registered user. By accessing, browsing, and using the Site, you accept, without limitation or qualification, these Terms of Use. JOOD maintains the right to modify these Terms of Use and may do so by posting notice of such modifications on this page. Any modification is effective immediately upon posting, unless otherwise stated. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of any modification signifies your acceptance of such modification.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JOOD, its business partners, employees and subsidiaries from any liability, loss, claim or expenses, including proxy fees and expenses, related to your breach of these Terms of Use or your use of the Site services.

JOOD name and emblem are the exclusive property of JOOD. They are protected under the United Arab Emirates law. Unauthorized use is prohibited. They may not be copied or reproduced in any way without the prior written permission of JOOD. Requests for permission should be sent to us using the copyright permission option on our Site. All Content on the pages of the Site, such as text, logo, graphics, images, and software, is owned by JOOD. This information is protected by the proprietary rights of its respective owners. It is prohibited for any of the users to copy or edit any of this information without the explicit consent JOOD.

If You access or use the electronic payment portal to make an online payment via debit card, credit card, or net banking, You represent and warrant that You are either the lawful cardholder or account holder, or that You have obtained the express authorization and consent of the relevant cardholder or account holder prior to initiating such transaction.

JOOD is committed to ensuring the safety and security of all transactions conducted through the Site. JOOD does not store credit card details, unless we have obtained the Contributor explicit consent. JOOD also ensures not to disclose Contributor personal or payment information to third parties, except as required for the purpose of processing payments or as required by applicable law.

All credit card transactions conducted through the Site are secured using industry standard encryption technologies and security protocols designed to protect payment information and ensure transaction integrity.

If a Contributor decided that they no longer wish to proceed with a donation, or believe that a donation has been made in error, the Contributor may submit a written request to JOOD for a refund within 48 hours of the original transaction time. Upon receipt of a valid request within this period, we will process the refund accordingly. Any approved refund will be issued using the original method of payment. The timing of the refund and the actual credit of funds to the Contributor’s account shall be subject to the terms and conditions, and processing timelines of the relevant bank or payment provider.

We accept all kinds of Visa and Master card, all transactions currency shall be in AED (United Arab Emirates Dirham).

We will not be responsible for the content and the privacy practices of other websites and encourage you to examine each website's privacy policy and make your own decisions regarding the accuracy, reliability and correctness of material and information found.

All complaints will be acknowledged and reviewed and you should get a response within seven (7) working days of receipt of the complaint and/or suggestion. If additional time is required to investigate the matter, we will notify you accordingly.

The Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, Dubai law.
